Vodafone | One Family Under A Groove

Vodafone Group Plc is one of the world’s largest technology telecommunications companies connecting more than 300 million people around the world providing mobile and broadband services

The One Family Under A Groove campaign was created to encourage households and families to save money by moving over to Vodafone Together the UK’s first 5G mobile and broadband bundle which combines 4G and 5G unlimited mobile data and home broadband into one great deal.

In the commercial we see a typical British family, starting with a Dad knocking up dinner joined by the entire family celebrating by treating themselves from the money they saved by moving to Vodafone Together with an illuminated dance floor, an everyday family domestic kitchen transforming into a dance club.

Del worked closely with the actors cast as the beaming family, choreographing their actions and performance ensuring their characters connected naturally within the narrative whilst being real enough for the audience to relate to. Movement was designed to flow between every camera frame including social dance moves connecting the characters from dad bopping in the kitchen then hip bumping with the youngest daughter, who in turn head sways with her sister on a video call who jumps off a bus, with son running home kicking the front gate to mum taking off her shoes to join the kitchen disco in full flow and illuminate the dance floor, all showing off their best moves, elation and non stop energy whilst enjoying their treat from the money they saved.

Choreography was also created for Facebook and Twitter carousels where each family member would move through frame to encourage the viewer to interact, swipe and watch the next video showing all the benefits of Vodafone Together.
