Elbow are a Brit Award winning alternative rock band. ‘Bones of You’ was taken from their Mercury Music Prize winning album The Seldom Seen Kid.

In the video there is a clever mathematic use of repetitive choreographed movement. Repeated loops of movement were created for the solo female dancer & band members to directly matched to strong motifs/instruments/sounds in the song.

Each loop was shot individually & the beauty of the technique was although at first movements seem obscure, when all loops were put together they all interact & make imaginative sense. The result is hypnotic, very photographic & has a striking visual simplicity.
