MTV Adidas Footlocker | Mix It Up Brand Spot
Marking the 60th anniversary of the adidas Originals iconic 3-Stripes Trefoil mark introduced by company founder Adi Dassler, adidas created the Mix It Up sneaker and apparel collection available exclusively at Foot Locker.
The commercial’s theme plays homage to the star-studded ‘House Party’ commercial which featured musicians and icons such as Katy Perry, Russell Simmons, Missy Elliott, David Beckham and Ilie Nastase.
Shot in a almost stop motion technique, the spot allows for a true fusion of both a fashion and a promo shoot.
Each performer repeated precise choreographed sequences of movements, wearing 2 Originals outfits which were switched in post production. The result gives an effect of Items changing in the blink of an eye communicating the notion of the ‘Mix It Up’ brand.
