Del makes his directoral debut creating “All In!” a high-tech original production on the World’s 2nd Biggest Cruise Ship, Royal Caribbean’s Utopia of The Seas

‘All In!’ is a high-energy original show celebrating iconic party destinations and brings the biggest parties and musical celebrations in history from Studio 54, Miami, Carnival of Venice, Burning Man to Stadium Arena concerts all in one unforgettable show, fitting in with Royal Caribbean’s “World’s Biggest Weekend” new party ship offering the ultimate short getaway of 3 and 4 night cruises appealing to first time cruisers.

Del creates & choreographs for the World’s 1st immersive journey of self-discovery involving cutting-edge 5D holographic technology, science studies map projections, interactive and audience decision tracking for a truly personalized experience in Explore The True You: The Museum of Infinite Realities’ (MOIR) debut show.

‘Explore the True You’ takes audiences through 7 Vividly Imagined Rooms in a magical 60-90 minute adventure in self-awareness that crescendos to a world-leading holographic show. Each participant lives a personal adventure of which they are the hero. In each room, they make choices that are analysed in real-time climaxing in a life-altering encounter with a holographic animal that mirrors their decisions creating of their own reality.

Del designed dance and movement incorporating motion capture, CGI, 3D scanning technology and visual effects collaborating with leading visual creative studio Buckloop for interactive installations and a 5D holgraphic theatre show involving immersive lighting design, air and water mechanisms.

MOIR is a new permanent venue in Brussels conceived by Cinimod Studio global leaders in immersive experiences and Everland real estate and operations experts, more new experiences will be developed over the years with plans to expand to Paris, London, Berlin and beyond.

Del choreographs a industry workshop of brand new original musical fully endorsed by Chaka Khan called I’m Every Woman – The Chaka Khan Musical.

The creative team includes producer Adrian Grant (he/him), book writer Tina Andrews (she/her), director Racky Plews (she/her), and Ian Oakley (he/him) responsible for musical orchestrations, vocal arrangements, and musical supervision.

I’m Every Woman brings Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Chaka Khan’s explosive and dramatic life to the stage. Her story will be explored and experienced in flashbacks utilising the unique concept of a present-day musical within a musical about Chaka Khan herself.

I’m Every Woman features Chaka Khan’s well-loved songs, both as a solo artist and as the lead singer of the band Rufus, including “I’m Every Woman,” “Ain’t Nobody,” “I Feel For You,” and “Higher Love.”

This untold story of Chaka Khan reveals her passion for civil rights, struggles within a toxic music industry, a dangerous road to a drug-fuelled overdose, and the high pressures of working whilst being a mother.

Del works with BAFTA-winning director Hettie Macdonald of BBC and Hulu hit ‘Normal People’, on the movie adaptation of Rachel Joyce’s best-selling novel ‘The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry’, starring Academy Award Winner Jim Broadbent alongside Dame Penelope Wilton DBE, choreographing a flashback Tea Dance scene in the story of an unremarkable man who sets off on a remarkable journey.

The film follows Harold recently retired, well into his 60s who lives a life without purpose until he learns an old friend Queenie is dying, he sets off to the post office to send her a letter and decides to keep walking: all the way to her hospice, 450 miles away and vows that in walking across England to see her, his journey can keep her alive.

The film was developed with the support of The British Film Institute and Film4 and awarded National Lottery Funding. Author Rachel Joyce, who won the 2012 UK National Book Award for the New Writer of the Year, also penned the screenplay.

Del will be a Headliner at Move It the World’s Biggest Dance Event held at London’s ExCeL International Convention Centre.

He will be leading an exclusive 3 hour Choreo-Lab: Dance For Camera Workshop on Sunday 13 March 1.30 – 4.30pm revealing insights into the process of creating choreography for advertising and brands. Participants will learn how to work with a director’s vision, create and develop choreography, and how to frame movement for the camera. The final creation will be professionally filmed as a commercial and revealed post workshop.

Del will also be Head Judge at the Hip Hop International UK Hip Hop Dance Championship which will be all Move It for the first time, where the best crews in the UK will compete to be crown UK Champion and represent the UK at the World Hip Hop Championships in America in the summer

Del choreographs technologically ladened superhero musical The Effectors II: Crash ‘n’ Burn on the world’s biggest cruise ship Royal Caribbean International’s Wonder of The Seas.

The musical is the latest instalment of Royal Caribbean’s very own set of superheroes, known as “The Effectors”: Captain Viz, Lume, Pixel and Reverb returning in this sequel drawing on their powers of creativity and special effects to battle their archnemesis, Crash, and his new sidekick, Burn. It is larger and bolder, with Del working extensively with the cast of 26 singers and dancers in performance numbers incorporating groundbreaking autonomous technology including drones, lasers, aerial flying, stage automation and interactive video design content.

Del works on Vodafone’s latest commercial campaign celebrating the joy of family saving with mobile and home broadband in one great deal Vodafone Together.

The commercial features a Dad knocking up dinner joined by the entire family treating themselves from the money they saved with an illuminated dance floor where an everyday family domestic kitchen transforms into a dance club.

Del choreographs and will appear in Catherine Tate’s 6-part comedy series for Netflix, Hard Cell is a women’s prison mockumentary as a documentary crew follows the inmates and staff of HMP Woldsley. Writer and creator Catherine plays multiple characters including Laura Willis, the Governor who believes believes in rehabilitating the inmates through creativity. Hard Cell is set over a six week period during which the inmates rehearse a musical directed by ex-EastEnders star Cheryl Fergison to find their voices, grow in confidence and strengthen their friendships.

The series is due to premiere on Netflix 12 April 2022

K-pop fever is coming to the musical stage. Del is recruited to co-choreograph the R&D workshops for an all-new K-pop musical called ICON.

ICON follows a five-piece boy band at the height of their success. At the peak of their career, everything is suddenly put on the line when their leading man is called up to military service and the group have to find a way to pull together for themselves and, importantly, their fans.

The concert-style show is directed by Jennifer Tang, produced Carter Dixon McGill Productions and has an original soundtrack from chart-topping K-Pop team THE HUB led by Brian You and platinum-selling songwriter Charlotte Wilson.

Set to feature an English-language book by Kyo Choi, with song lyrics in English while using Korean elements, the show also has musical direction by Chris Poon, dramaturgy and additional lyrics by Darren Clark, and orchestrations by Joe and Nikki Davison.

With Breaking (aka Breakdance) becoming a new Olympic Sport at Paris 2024, Del is one of the first wave of licensed judges issued by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) recognised international governing body the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) qualified to judge at all future WDSF Championships and Games.

This is the first steps in the professionalisation of the dance with certified judges trained in using the original Trivium judging system that will result in transparency, accountability, and fair judging.

Del choreographs a dazzling live virtual music concert involving motion capture, dance, music & interactive audience voting for one of the biggest mobile games and its 1st and largest global brand campaign called ‘Battle In Style’.

Del designed dance and movements for Free Fire’s virtual band T.R.A.P. made up of 4 popular characters from the game: Moco, Antonio, Miguel & Kelly which were motion captured at the world leading Centroid Studios and assembled in originally designed worlds by 3D artists from around the world in Unreal Engine.

The livestream event on YouTube brought together Free Fire fans around the globe, blending gameplay, 3D creation and responsive emojis, viewers could influence the performance in real-time, using live chat to vote on Moco’s dance moves or choose Kelly’s pet – two of many unexpected twists throughout the show.

Safety Rocks! Virgin launches its Adults-Only cruise with an iconic safety video reimagined as a Rock Opera set entirely to song and dance to get sailors pumped for their full rockstar experience. Del created captivating movement and choreography while delivering important safety rules with cheeky irony and relentless fun in a 6 min redefining cruise line safety video.

Del collaborates with Gorilla Circus on a Research & Development for RPM, a new show on a custom built giant treadmill.

The 2 week R&D aims was to question our perception of our colonial legacy and reflect on scenes of colonial history through the movement of acrobatics, roller skating and breakdance all on one moving platform.

The Arts Council funded residency was hosted by Out There Arts’ The Drill House creation space in Great Yarmouth.

Bringing the feel-good carnival vibe of Jamaica to all over the UK, Del choreographs ‘Get The Sunshine Vibe’, Old Jamaica’s biggest ever campaign.

Watch the ‘Sunshine Man’, a modern Old Jamaica twist on the lovable neighbourhood Milkman, cooly turn up the Sunshine dial in people’s lives with some fancy footwork, spins, and slides when providing ice-cold cans to unique thirsty residents – Sunshine Gran, Sunshine Dan and Sunshine Leeann, on a sunny day.

Del creates and choreographs for Mirinda’s first-ever digitally-made campaign featuring famous content creators.

A TikTok style dance was designed for the dance content creators featured in the commercial that would connect the brand with young consumers around the world, to encourage them to create their own content and “Make the World Go AAAH!”

Del was also the body reference for the VFX liquid dancer made from colourful soda representing the tasty Mirinda drink in motion which leaps into the screen for an epic finale.

Let’s go nuts! See the dancing “Raw Pleasure” Del choreographs for leading French snack brand Bénénuts.

A middle-aged lead lady shows how a bite of Bénénuts, instantly leads to spontaneous cheerful comedy dance including iceberg lettuces pom-pom cheerleading through her kitchen, and into her garden. She is spotted by her neighbours, beloved recurring characters Ben and Nuts, who make a joke about her nutty actions.

Seemless switching is effortless. Del is brought back to choreograph 4 explainers videos illustrating how easy it is to switch bank accounts. Working closely with all departments including the director, camera, lighting and art department, a seamless performance journey is designed on a cast of main characters (‘Switchers’) moving around their home environment with 2 ‘Movers’ around them helping them to move through their daily lives with ease.

Del was requested to choreograph the Opening Plenary performance for Sibos the world’s premier financial services event held in London for the 1st time at the ExCeL International Convention Centre.

Del developed an interactive dance performance that conveyed the event narrative of communication and hyper-connectivity featuring dancers, original music composition/sound design, mixed media in the form of high-end motion graphics on a 20m wide LED wall and a kinetic lighting rig.

The performance was dedicated to the late British composer Jonathan Goldstein.

Del choreographs Grand Opening Ceremony at the iconic Mandalay Bay Arena in front of 8000+ people for hair care giant Redken’s biggest hair care event the Redken Symposium. Del created and oversaw choreography and artists on 2 stages involving 20 dancers in styles of dance including Lindy Hop, Commercial Dance, Burlesque, Hip Hop / Breakdance and House Dance, 76 Redken models, a juggler, hand balancer, aerialists and the world famous aerial fire artists the Fuel Girls

Del will be a World Expert Judge on an all new American TV talent show The World’s Best with a prime time premiere slot after the Super Bowl LIII on 3 Feb on major US TV network CBS.

Hosted by James Corden, hand picked elite acts from around the globe not only have to impress star American judges Drew Barrymore, RuPaul Charles & Faith Hill, but also win over the ‘Wall of the World’, 50 experts from 38 different countries in order to win the $1 million prize.

The ‘Wall of the World’ is comprised of experts from every field of entertainment, Del will be representing the UK, offering feedback during every round of the competition and along with the other judges be responsible for helping to decide which act is ultimately crowned The World’s Best.

In a musical celebration of the Cricket World Cup 2019, starring cricket star Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff, Del is reunited with Oscar nominated Director Peter Cattaneo to choreograph an all singing and dancing commercial to Imagine Dragons’ ‘On Top of the World’ featuring a huge cast of 23 dancers/actors, a brass band and 100 passionate cricket fans on their journey through quintessential Britain ending up at the world famous Oval cricket ground.

Del creates, directs & choreographs a dance concept video in LA to Ariana Grande’s new single ‘No Tears Left To Cry’ as part of the Axis Connect dance intensive course consisting of emerging & professional dancers. In his ‘Dancing Through The Lens’ workshop demonstrates how the use space, time & perspective in camera & in the edit can showcase dance creatively & make the impossible look humanly possible.

Have a message to tell someone? 3 women set out on a mysterious mission ending in a peculiar dance routine choreographed by Del, inspired by dance moves from viral Instagram celebrity Russell Horning also known as the Backpack Kid.

‘Sundowner’ is a fashion film commissioned by Vogue Italia and Fashion Film Festival Milano as part of “Through my eyes ep. II – Women’s View” and was premiered at Vogue Fashion Night Out 2017 / Vogue for Milan.

Who wears the dad-bod best? You be the judge. Del choreographs a beauty pageant with a twist featuring ‘unmaintained’ male bodies celebrating ‘real’ masculinity in a Miss Universe-like swimsuit competition.

Del choreographs Mexico’s largest department store Coppel’s new TV Commercial showcasing their new Spring/Summer fashion collection on an innovative revolving set divided into multiple ‘dressing’ rooms, with doors that become a gateway to a new character, look and scenario.

Del worked closely with the hero model movements, from her journey getting ready in her bedroom which transforms magically to her stealing the show at the centre of a dance floor surrounded by a crowd of dancers.

George The Poet’s video 1,2,1,2 choreographed by Del, has been nominated for Best Urban Video at the forthcoming UK Music Video Awards to be held a London’s legendary Roundhouse.

Del choreographs the new World Touring stage show Hello Kitty Live – Fashion & Friends with the world premiere at London’s legendary Eventim Apollo.

Hello Kitty Live – Fashion & Friends is a live stage show which for the first time ever, fans of all ages of the $7 Billion brand will be given the chance to physically enter the world of Hello Kitty as she takes to the stage live and in 3D. The story of the show will feature talent, friendship and a passion for creativity combined with fantastic fashion and costumes combined with a lively and sparkling soundtrack, including songs from the Warner Music Group including Bruno Mars, Kylie Minogue, Flo Rida, Clean Bandit, Charli XCX, and Echosmith.

The show contains dance numbers mixed with animation and creative set design for which movement and choreography were incorporated around. Hello Kitty Live is due to tour France, Belgium and the UK from January to March 2016, other countries outside Europe worldwide to be confirmed in the near future. Hello Kitty Live is being promoted by Live Nation Entertainment who’s roster include Global superstars including Madonna, Rihanna and Beyonce.

New Look, New Menu, New Vibe. Del choreographs Pizza Hut’s makeover ‘Taste Freedom’ ad campaign. The slick, stylish commercial includes stunning visual effects and features krump dance, air cannons and copious amounts of flour.

Found a dream bathroom? Time for a celebratory boogie. Del choreographs Victorian Plumbing’s new commercial campaign, featuring hero dancing dad character ‘Jeff’ who is transported back in time to the heady days of disco and performs a joyful, quirky and comedic dance down his suburban family home hallway.

Del works with Laura Doggett on the video to ‘Old Faces’ as featured on UK hit drama ‘Broadchurch’. Laura delivers a striking performance and poetic movement throughout video under the close tutelage of Del. Del also choreographs a trio of faceless women who appear to perform choreographed gossiping movements and gestures.

Imagine real dancers performing on your screen whenever you played your favourite songs. Thanks to the MINI Collection Screendancer, now every playlist can be a music video, a simple plug-in turns the iTunes visualizer into a dance floor: you choose the music, the plug-in identifies the rhythm and the dancers move to the beat.

Del was headhunted by Mini and creatives from Germany, the home of parent company BMW, to choreograph for the pioneering project, the first to use a media player visualizer as medium for advertising.

Del has received a nomination for the 2014 World Dance Awards in Hollywood, Los Angeles for his work on the dance short film ’Shift’. The ceremony honours the best in the world of choreography. Del is one of five choreographers shortlisted for the “Next Generation Danceamatic” Award which recognises creativity in direction & choreography of dance content creation in the medium of film. The winner will be announced & have their winning film screened at the award ceremony on held an the prestigious Avolon Hollywood.

‘7 Billion People in the World but there’s only 1 You’. Del choreographs BRIT Critics Choice Award nominee George The Poet’s empowering and quirky video to his release 1,2,1,2. The video features a mixed cast of actors, performers and dancers appear as a characters from all different walks of life breaking out of uniformity individuality thorough physical theatre, movement and dance.

Bollywood’s answer to the ever popular street dance/romance films M.A.D Mad About Dance is about to hit the movie theatres. Featuring an international cast of actors & dancers, Del casted the UK talent in the movie as well as choreographing & assistant directing all the dance scenes. Channel 4’s Comedy Gala live from London’s O2 Arena, comedian Paddy McGuinness teams up with Del to create a humourous fitness class based comedy sketch involving a workout, twerking & audience participation.

In a futuristic universe, 5 cyborg runners race against each other, each fuelled by engine oil, who wins? Del choreographs & is duplicated 5 times in Millers Oils brand new commercial laden with impressive special effects, editing and post production.

The commercial has received a Royal Television Society Award nomination in the category of ‘Best Production Craft Skills’.

British summer ruined by rain? Nothing can get in the way of the joy you feel when eating a Cadbury Dairy Milk Ice Cream. Del choreographs the Cadbury ‘Dancing Dad’ on a spontaneous journey dancing along, through and across a beachfront promenade, in a moment of unplanned joy.

‘Shift’ has been awarded $10K for charity by pop superstar Madonna as a winning submission for her #ArtForFreedom Campaign. The grant was split between 2 very worthy children charities Street Child World Cup & Sense UK chosen by Del Mak & co-driector Patrick Ryder.

The film has also achieved international recognition through winning the Reel13 Film Contest, the Super Short Film Award at the New York Independent Film Festival & the Irvo Experimental Film Award at the SorsiCorti Film Festival. The film has in total achieved Official Selections at 11 International Film Festivals around the world.

Getting into the Carnival spirit, Del works with Trinidadian trio Regulaz on their highly stylish commercial video with a comedic parody twist.

Held at the prestigious Hospital Club in the heart if Covent Garden, Del was requested to choreograph the Fashion Shows at the VIP launch of One Love Wedding Show, the first ever style driven same-sex wedding event.

Launching the new Bonus Ball addition to the Health Lottery, a new TV commercial campaign was choreographed by Del with the new prizes illustrated using a creative approach involving dance performances, tricks & stunts demonstrated by the lottery ball cast of characters.

Del was invited by Hip Hop International (creators of MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew) to judge at the prestigious World Hip Hop Dance Championship in Las Vegas. With over 40 countries represented & 2500 dancers competing, it is widely recognised as the #1 Hip Hop Dance Championship in the World.

Del created & choreographed sequences of violent, aggressive, angular and dark movement that were innovatively edited in forward & reverse in this haunting video for the single ‘Open Your Eyes’ by pioneering dubstep music producer Benga.

British Menswear designer Martine Rose teamed up with Del to produce a stunning fashion film, featuring one model possessing five very different movement genres. The film premiered at prestigious The Sanderson Hotel in London

From head-spinning policemen to old grannies, Daily Star Sunday invited all walks of life to ‘Celebrate Sunday’ in their branding campaign featuring a cast of 75 characters who were movement directed & choreographed by Del.
