Wonder of the Seas is an Oasis Class cruise ship and was launched as the world’s largest cruise ship.
The Effectors II: Crash ‘n’ Burn is a technologically ladened superhero musical, a latest instalment of Royal Caribbean’s very own set of superheroes. Known as “The Effectors”: heros Captain Viz, Lume, Pixel and Reverb return in this sequel drawing on their powers of creativity and special effects to battle their archnemesis, Crash, and his new sidekick, Burn. It was at the time, the most technologically advanced multi-million dollar production in the history of the cruise industry
Del worked extensively with the with a cast of 26 singers and dancers to choreograph performance numbers that merged diverse movement styles from dance to combat with a compelling narrative and devised innovative ways to incorporate the groundbreaking autonomous technology in the show, including drones, lasers, aerial flying, stage automation and interactive LED video wall content, with movement together.
In the year Wonder of the Seas was launched, Royal Caribbean was awarded Best Cruise Line Entertainment at the Travel Weekly Readers’ Choice Awards.
